Manchester photographer Jason Harry has been shooting commercially for clients since 2007. Working predominantly in the area of fashion and lifestyle photography, the key for him is capturing the essence of the person, mood or style required for brands, professionals or the discerning private client. The content on this site covers this time, and much like his work, it will continue to evolve.
Where the work of Jason Harry took a turn was with the release of the ground breaking Canon 5dii in 2008 that changed the world of video forever and the role of the photographer as a content provider. Quickly realising this as both an opportunity and a major creative tool, Jason explored and developed his own techniques. He was always self-taught, which is perhaps not the easiest way to go or recommended for all; however he quickly got traction and eventually delivered his take on mastering video for photographers delivering this commercially to many hundreds of creatives, brands and organisations in the UK and beyond.
These were great times, within the industry often meeting with some hesitation amongst professionals as traditionally the skill sets of photography and video were very much previously separated. It was now becoming the norm for a team of 3-5 producing what would have been the work of up to 70 people. Time never goes backwards as they say - those quick to embrace the technologies made good gains within the evolving market place.
Maintaining his roots in Manchester to this day, Jason is available for your upcoming creative projects both nationally and internationally; his work and style fitting easily with the looks you will see produced in Milan and New York. This due to his own natural style early on being in-line with those markets that he would later create content for personally
There is an undercurrent of strength in gentleness about Jason's work. Wherever this leads you personally is for you to feel and visually articulate yourself.
